Our 5-year warranty

Durable products are environmentally friendly

Sustainability is an important topic of public discourse, and there are good reasons for this. Outdoor and sports enthusiasts in particular are very aware of the benefits of sustainability in production, as they feel an inherent love of the grandeur of unspoilt nature. But with all the discussions about more or less ground-breaking technological advances in production, we often forget one of the most important aspects of sustainability: Product durability.

Any product we create requires resources: energy and natural raw materials. That’s why it’s so important to treat the finite resources of our planet with care and responsibility.

A long product life cycle saves resources

Coming from this point of view, it’s really important that our products can be used for as long as possible, as for any long-living product you continue to use, we won’t need to expend energy and natural resources for producing a new one. In other words: Maier Sports pants which you can use for many, many years to come are the best way to save our world’s precious resources.

Our promise of quality

This ideal of producing durable, high-quality clothes to protect mother nature has been a core tenet of the Maier Sports philosophy for more than seven decades. We guarantee you environmentally friendly products of the utmost quality. That’s no idle boast, either: We back it up with a five-year warranty on the material and workmanship of all of our products.

To guarantee we can hold up our end of the bargain, we maintain our own sewing room at Maier Sports company headquarters in Köngen. Yet another way in which we make sure to treat natural resources with care.

Repairing your clothes instead of throwing them away

Our trained seamstresses stand ready to repair your pants, jackets, blouses or whatever piece of Maier Sports apparel may have suffered damage during your outdoor adventures. Our experts can do anything from replacing loose zip fasteners to closing up ripped seams or holes in the fabric near-seamlessly.

We are firmly convinced that repairing clothes is more sensible than throwing them out and buying new ones. Perhaps that’s just because saving resources is part of our Swabian DNA.

If you’d like to learn more about our repair service and the many interesting details that go into it, we’d love to show you more here.
