The subsidiary of Maier Sports GmbH in Turkey was founded back in 1989. The management at the time decided to take this step due to the highly developed textile industry in Turkey with its numerous well-trained specialists. The fact that this decision was the right one is demonstrated not only by the high quality of the products, but also by the exceptionally trusting cooperation. 42 employees work there - some have been there for around 30 years (as of June 2024). This means they have been there almost from the start.

As in all Maier Sports GmbH production facilities, regular audits are also carried out at the Turkish subsidiary - for example in April 2024 by the Fair Wear Foundation. This is also important with regard to the German Supply Chain Act, which also applies to the production facility as a subsidiary of a German company. As a result, cooperation has intensified further and developed positively throughout.
