Maier Sports GmbH founded its first joint venture company in China back in 2000. This first cooperation with a Chinese production facility continues to this day and the intention is to continue this long-term strategy and cooperation and to prioritize quality and sustainability over short-term cost reductions in production.

There are 193 employees working at the production facility, some of whom have been there for over 20 years. In order to promote their health and safety rights, the production facility is subject to regular audits.
