How do I properly care for my outdoor trousers?

Of course, you will want to wash your new outdoor trousers after wearing them in rain and mud or after a multi-day tour. You don't have to worry about the water-repellent properties if you keep a few things in mind. In principle, you can machine wash or dry clean all of our outdoor trousers at 30 degrees. However, do not use fabric softener, as it impairs the breathability of your trousers and is also harmful to the environment. It is best to use a detergent specifically designed for functional clothing, so you are always on the safe side.

Our textiles are extremely durable, but after a while, the finish needs to be reapplied to ensure they remain waterproof. There are various spray-on and washing machine products available on the market. Do your research and choose a product that is environmentally friendly. You should also follow these tips:

- Do not use too much detergent

- Spin at a low speed

- It is best to wash your trousers inside out

- You can pre-treat stubborn stains

- You can refresh a dirt-repellent Teflon coating with Teflon sprays

- Fill the washing machine to a maximum of 2/3 on the delicate cycle

- Only use the tumble dryer if the care label allows it

We also offer various waistband solutions to perfect the fit of your outdoor trousers: a classic waistband with a belt allows you to adjust the fit flexibly for a perfect fit.
