TERMS AND CONDITIONS OF PARTICIPATION
Maier Sports Bucket List Contest
- The organizer of this contest is Maier Sports GmbH, Nürtinger Str. 27, 73257 Köngen (hereinafter referred to as the “Organizer”).
- Participation in the bucket list contest takes place via the page:
https://www.maier-sports.com/de-de/highlights/every-body-mooove/
by clicking the “Participate Now” button, completing the required fields of the questionnaire, and ticking the checkbox. During registration, at least one photo must be uploaded showing the completed bucket list item. In addition, participants must indicate which item was completed. Only complete applications will be considered by the Organizer. - By participating in the promotion, participants accept these terms and conditions.
- Procedure: Participants complete the challenges and submit proof photos via the participation form. To confirm participation, the “Participate Now” button must be clicked. For each completed challenge submitted to Maier Sports with proof, one entry is added to the draw. The more challenges completed, the higher the chance of winning.
- The following prizes can be won:
- 3 × 2 overnight stays for 2 people in a cozy double room, including half board and one session each on the hydro massage lounger at Hotel LechZeit (value approx. €660). All costs associated with participation or incurred additionally, in particular travel costs and additional meals, must be borne by the participants themselves.
- 5 Maier Sports outfits (1 T-shirt and 1 pair of shorts each)
- 10 Maier Sports bags
- Contest period: April 28, 2026 – July 12, 2026, 12:00 PM.
- Eligible to participate are individuals from Germany, Austria, Belgium, the Netherlands, Luxembourg, and Switzerland who are at least 18 years old at the time of participation. Employees of Maier Sports GmbH, the Schwan-STABILO Group, and their relatives are excluded from participation.
- All costs associated with the prize, especially travel expenses and meals beyond half board, must be borne by the winners themselves. Winners and their accompanying persons are responsible for necessary travel arrangements, e.g., travel insurance.
- If a winner is unable to take the trip for reasons not attributable to Maier Sports, they forfeit their claim to the prize and are not entitled to compensation.
- Participation is free of charge and independent of the purchase of goods or services.
- Maier Sports is not obliged to review the content provided by participants (e.g., images) for potential violations of third-party rights. However, Maier Sports reserves the right to reject content if it is deemed unlawful or contrary to public decency. By uploading content, particularly images, participants declare that these are free of third-party rights, meaning that the content is either their own or that they have obtained consent from the rights holders and any persons depicted in the images or videos. Participants indemnify Maier Sports against all third-party claims arising from the use of the submitted content. Participants agree to support Maier Sports in any reasonable way in defending against such claims.
- Winners will be selected by July 19, 2026. After the closing date, winners will be chosen based on the submitted information and notified by email. The following criterion will be considered: the submitted bucket list images of the participant.
- Winners must confirm receipt of the prize notification immediately after receiving the email, but no later than July 26, 2026, and provide the required additional information (phone number, clothing size, address, etc.). Otherwise, the organizer is entitled to select new winners.
- Withdrawal
Participants may withdraw from participation at any time by sending a cancellation to service@maier-sports.de. Deleting the data results in exclusion from the contest. - Cash payment of the prize or transfer to another person is not possible.
- Disclaimer of liability
Maier Sports is fully liable in cases of intent or gross negligence. Furthermore, Maier Sports is liable for negligent breaches of essential contractual obligations (cardinal obligations), the breach of which endangers the achievement of the contract’s purpose, or for breaches of obligations that are necessary for the proper execution of the experience and on whose compliance the contractual partner regularly relies. In this case, however, liability is limited to the foreseeable, typical contractual damage. Maier Sports is not liable for negligent breaches of obligations other than those mentioned above. The above limitations of liability do not apply in cases of injury to life, body, or health. Liability under the Product Liability Act remains unaffected. To the extent liability is excluded or limited, this also applies to the personal liability of employees, representatives, and agents of Maier Sports. - Data protection
The controller responsible for data protection is Maier Sports GmbH, Nürtinger Str. 27, 73257 Köngen. Further information on data protection can be found in the privacy notice for participation in contests. - Legal recourse
Legal recourse is excluded. The law of the Federal Republic of Germany applies (possibly in conjunction with mandatory provisions of Swiss, Belgian, Luxembourg, Dutch, or Austrian law).
