Our partners along the supply chain make a significant contribution to our products and their quality. We therefore aim to maintain long-term business relationships, promote direct exchange, and foster mutual trust. In addition, we seek to provide our customers with increasing transparency regarding our supply chain. For this reason, the links below offer insights into our purchasing practices as well as our production sites.
The importance of supply chain transparency is steadily increasing in light of new regulatory requirements, such as the German Supply Chain Due Diligence Act (LkSG), the adopted EU Corporate Sustainability Due Diligence Directive, and the emerging reporting obligations under the Corporate Sustainability Reporting Directive (CSRD). Textile companies are considered by the European Commission to operate in a high-risk sector and therefore carry particular responsibilities. Increasing transparency within our supply chain enables us to trace the origin of our products and materials and to support compliance with social and environmental standards. However, establishing supply chain transparency involves several challenges. The complexity and diversity of supply chains, particularly in the textile industry, can make traceability more difficult. Continuous efforts are required to assess whether partners along the supply chain align with our standards.

The Maier Sports and Gonso brands each include two main collections per year. To ensure that these are available for customers to purchase on time, long-term planning and consideration of all workers involved in production are required.
